You now know that when yeast overgrowth upsets your intestinal balance, it is likely connected to a multitude of chronic conditions like fatigue, migraines, depression, irritable bowel syndrome, PMS, thyroid imbalances, etc., etc., etc.

But did you know there is also a yeast connection to skin conditions?

As early as 1983, researchers in Finland discovered a link between Candida albicans and atopic dermatitis (eczema). And James H. Brodsky, M.D., a renowned internal medicine specialist, wrote of another clinical trial:  “The investigators estimate that in about 26% of patients with chronic urticaria (hives) Candida albicans sensitivity is an important factor. Significant improvement or total healing of acne problems can even be seen by following an anti-Candida, yeast-free, gluten-free diet.

So if you or your child suffers from acne, eczema, psoriasis, hives, Dermatitis Herpetiformis or rosacea, follow the SCD and watch healing take place.

Kay’s Note:  How I wish I knew when my son’s were babies what I know now. One suffered with severe eczema from scalp to toes for the first 3 years of his life. We fed him a milk substitute and rubbed him down 3 times a day with a prescription Cortisone cream. That’s all we knew to do. Today, he follows the SCD religiously.
